A unique and wonderful blend of two very different grapes. The 2004 Cabernet Franc had intense varietal character but did not have adequate structure to stand on it's own. This lot was cellar aged in small oak barrels for 30 months. The Petite Verdot was slightly overwhelming by itself, with big tannins and intense flavors. However, when the two were paired together, it was a match made my divine rite. You will want to get this soon, as it is a small lot and is going quickly. Pair with rich red meats.
