This 06 merlot was aged for 18 months in French, Hungarian, and American Oak barrels. Aromas of cherries, blackberries, kirsch, vanilla, toast, and leather offer an inviting welcome to your senses. The lively acidity serves up pie cherries, plums, cocoa powder, and licorice. Ample tannins provide the backbone for a solid merlot that will cellar well for many years to come.
